The Cockapoo is a medium sized, very people oriented, outgoing, and happy dog. Being a very intelligent dog, coupled with a forgiving nature, they are unparalleled as a children’s dog. They are as much at home in an apartment as they are on the biggest farm. They are extremely easy to train to just about any living situation. Cockapoos have a life span of 14-18 yrs. and have been known to reach as much as 22 yrs., making them a long-lived, loyal companion. Their coat is low to non-shedding and may be curly like the poodles or flat like the Cocker Spaniel’s with variations in between as well. Their size can vary somewhat as well, from toy to miniature, depending on the size of the Poodle parent.
